Here is Inc. Magazine's latest list of the fastest growing privately held companies in America, the 2008 Inc. 5000 List. Hat tip to Paul Kedrosky for writing a post on his Infectious Greed blog that alerted me that the 2008 list had been published. I own a few shares of a former employer that appeared on this list last year, so I was curious to see if the company was still on the list this year. It is, around the middle of the pack.
Some of the companies on this list will eventually go public, of course, and the list gives you a chance to hear about them before that happens.

OT, but did you see the VIC write up for RAME from a few days ago? I found it very compelling, and, after doing more research over the weekend, ended up pulling the trigger at about 4.65. Assuming that oil stays at around 100-110/bbl, I think the proper valuation is somewhere 9.71-12.89, and in an absolute best case scenario, as high as 16.
Didn't see it, but I'll take a look. Thanks for the heads up.
No problem. If you go to RAME's investor relations website, and go to past calendar events, they have a presentation they gave with last week's earnings call that was pretty helpful. The company also has enormous insider ownership (>65% according to Yahoo finance). They even had a couple of slides in the earning presentation showing how undervalued RAME is.
